In 1976, the Mothers of Many, in collaboration with the Black Belt Arts & Cultural Center, invested their time and treasure in the idea that all children deserved the best available education. That is the vision that McRae-Gaines’ staff, teachers, Board of Directors and parents want to guarantee for future generations of Selma’s working families.
Our Board of Directors is a group of community leaders committed to the mission of the school “to provide quality education for every child, from the least to the greatest.”
